The Statuette

Flash Back:  I caught this statue girl within a crowd of crafts of an Art Emporium opposite to the Saraswathi Mahal library, Tanjavur, Tamilnadu. She was holding a bow and an arrow, she was beautifully sculptured and she admired me a lot. I felt there was a soul inside her when I was there looking at her in direct. Her smile looks real to me. If a girl sees this statue she would like to have this statue's body measurements ;)

Naming Ceremony - 2

I named my blog as "jpgformat" after a long struggle as I told in this post. Even though I am not fully satisfied with this name. I checked with few of my colleagues and friends that the name is fine or not. For my sake everyone said "hmmm...mhhmmmm...yaaa..hmmm..okayyy...but it sounds difffffffferent...but...hmmm..dont know..something is missing..hmmmm...but not a bad name though". Do you think I'm really happy after these many "hmmm"s and "but"s..?!!!!??!! I was waiting for a good name to born in my thoughts.

Then after few days I came to know of an album name "strawberry mood" by an amateur photographer. I got a spark that why don't I think about a pleasant name like this. As I was thinking of a nice name, I looked out of my office window and saw it's cloudy outside. I remember it was drizzling in the morning when I came to office by cab. Then I thought why can't I keep it as rainymood?? .. naaa.. it doesn't sound good... Then what.?!!

monsoonmood.?? Ya.. might be.. I checked internet immediately but disappointed, someone already had a blog with that name.. I didn't want to add a hyphen or an underscore (well, it doesn't work in a blog name). So I just wanted to get another name by looking out of the window. Then it came in my mind. Everyone likes those moments before the rain. The sky becomes cloudy. The hot & bright Sun is behind the clouds and the earth  looks like it got a dark blue tint applied on it. The people running on the road in a hurry will reduce their speed in walk and start to enjoy the climate (of course, they'll run very fast if rain drops start falling down;).

So everyone like those moments before the rain and the monsoon brings us blossoms. So I got this name now.."monsoonmoments". I feel this perfectly sounds fine. :) I continue with this name from now on..(but not sure if I will change the name again :p)

The Solitude

Flash Back

                   It was a Saturday morning around 6'o clock I reached my sister's home at Chennai. At that time my niece Harsha woke up from half sleep and sat near the front door still look alike sleepy. I wanted to capture this moment as exactly without letting her know that i'm clicking at her. The morning sunlight and the shadow inside the house made this picture as I wanted to be.

    என்றுமே ஆட்சேபித்ததில்லை நான்...

      

  திரும்ப நீ என்னை ஏற்கும் போதும்

    உன் மீதான மனநிலை என்றும் மாறியதில்லை எனக்கு...

Children of Heaven

Happy. .Sad.. Idle and Bored, Whatever we feel...The presence of a child will take us to a new world which is owned by them only..which is as cute as they are..!!..Even the God will become a child there and mingle with them.. Everyone wants to become a child whenever we see them playing/fighting/singing/crying/sleeping to hide ourselves into their world which doesn't have any statistical goals in life and to untie ourselves from this complicated world..


So No wonder why did I decide to start with a little angel who made her appearance in my camera..

Naming Ceremony

Uffff.... Finally I named my blog as "jpgformat".

I wanted to create a blog to share my photography skills (!!) :p. But the real struggle started when I wanted to give a nice name for my blog.

I started trying with a few names related to photography and it just went on and on for two hours to make me think of a fine name. I first started with shutterspeed.."sorry, this blog address is not available".

Hmm the first choice was failed :(

Let me try with something else. After a few seconds i got autofocus...not available..okay then manualfocus..?!!! No LUCK...then focuspoint, darkroom, thedarkroom, the-dark-room, auto-focus, ligtson, lights-on, lightsoff, onoff, normallens, viewfinder, megapixels, 8megapixels, 8mp, 1mb, 1gb,2gb, readytake, smileplease..

uffffffff... god.. someone already has a blog with the name I thought about.. Is this the time to check my thinking ability..??!!!

Okay I started thinking of my camera and the options in my camera, also the buttons on my canon camera..
Okay now I got ISO..first iso100, not available..then iso200, iso400, iso800, iso1600, iso3200.. oh no.. okay now my lens 18-55.. NO LUCKKKK.. I didn't want try 70-300 hoping that would also not available.. :-/

After sometime I tried photobooth, pixelbooth, picturebooth, lightsandshadows, flashandpictures, shadowtheif (!!!).... hmmmhmmm..
I always got "sorry, this blog address is not available"..

Then finally I got a thought of using "jpgformat" which most of us would like to save a picture in this format.
Thank God.. this time I got what I wanted :-) :D

Thus "jpgformat" became my blog name :-)
